    Can be cooked, and any leftovers can

LONG-GRAINED WHITE RICE

Benefits include the fact that your blood sugar will not rise as rapidly.  Low glycaemic index carbs produce a steadier rise in blood sugar and the fibre in these foods helps you feel more full to keep you satisfied longer.

LENTILS

A super-food, high in protein and fibre and low in fat.  They are also packed with iron, phosphorus, potassium and fibre.  Protein helps your body repair cells and make new ones.  It is essential for growth and development in children, teens and pregnant women. It is food for the brain.  Without it, we cannot concentrate, absorb information, let alone retain it.  And like the rice, it helps to keep you fuller for longer.

DEHYDRATED VEGETABLES

Provide the taste and the essential fibre to keep our system running efficiently.

HIMALAYAN PINK SALT

A rock salt which is our preference.  Daily consumption creates an electrolyte balance, increases hydration, regulates water content both inside and outside of cells, balances pH and helps to reduce acid reflux, prevents muscle cramping, aids in proper metabolism function, strengthens bones and lowers blood pressure.

Table Salt

  • Chemically processed for purification which looses all minerals. Additives are added to prevent clumping. 
  • BLEACHED!
  • Iodine is artificially added. 
  • 97.5% sodium chloride, 2.5% additives. 
  • Acid forming, not good for health:-
    • Excess salt may increase blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, osteoporosis, stomach cancer, water retention, circulatory and nervous disorders to name a few.
